Mosquito earring is an interactive
(and also annoying) earring.


Mosquito earring is ironic jewelry inspired by the annoying sound of the mosquito buzzing by your ear.

The earrings rotate near the face and the rotation creates the endless buzzing sound as if the mosquito is around you.

By capturing the unwelcome sound and the movement as interactive jewelry, the piece provides the absurd moment of humor.



1. 3D Modeling and Resin printing

2. Assembling with motors and battery
Due to the weight of the resin print, the frequency of the motor sound dropped. To reinforce the sound, I remodeled the connector to have another room for seperate motor.
